Whether you need Retin-A or glycolic acid treatment, Dr. Margoles will perform the initial application in her Greenwich office.
Retin-A
Retin-A is most effective for older patients with wrinkles or blotchy pigmentation and is often prescribed to individuals who are scheduled for a chemical peel. Retin-A is applied in small amounts to areas of freshly cleansed skin that need attention. Periodic follow-up visits can be scheduled to ensure the proper strength has been prescribed. Glycolic Acid
Glycolic acid or “fruity acid” treatments even out skin tone and leave rough or sun-damaged skin smoother and more youthful looking after only a few applications. The Glycolic cream or face wash is applied twice daily. Dr. Margoles will adjust the prescription strength and frequency as needed.
